PRESCRIPTION POLICY

At Wexford Health Solutions, LLC, we are dedicated to providing quality healthcare through our telehealth platform. To ensure a seamless process in obtaining your prescribed medications, patients must carefully review and adhere to the following prescription policy. 

• Prescriptions are issued based on the professional judgment of our licensed healthcare providers following a telehealth consultation.
• Patients must understand that only medications deemed appropriate for telehealth prescribing will be provided, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• If an in-person evaluation is required for certain medications, it is the patient’s responsibility to schedule and complete the necessary follow-up appointments.

• Patient Responsibility: Patients are solely responsible for selecting a pharmacy that accepts prescriptions from telehealth services. Whether choosing a local or mail-order pharmacy, it is crucial to confirm that the pharmacy complies with telehealth prescription regulations.
• Insurance Verification: Patients must independently verify that their insurance plan covers the prescribed medication at their chosen pharmacy. This includes ensuring the pharmacy is within their insurance network.

• Stock Confirmation: Before submitting your prescription, please confirm that your selected pharmacy has the medication in stock. This helps to avoid delays in receiving your treatment.
• Fulfillment of Prescription: Ensure that your pharmacy is able to fulfill the prescription as prescribed by our healthcare providers.

If a patient wishes to transfer their prescription to a different pharmacy, they must take responsibility for initiating the transfer process. It is the patient’s responsibility to ensure the new pharmacy accepts telehealth prescriptions and can fulfill the prescribed medication.

 Medication Monitoring: Patients are responsible for monitoring their medication supply and proactively scheduling follow-up appointments to avoid interruptions in their treatment.
