This Emergency Disclaimer clarifies that our telehealth services are not suitable for addressing emergency medical situations.

2.1 Emergency Situations: Our telehealth services are not designed for, nor should they be used in, emergency medical situations. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, it is critical that you seek immediate assistance through the appropriate emergency services. Contact emergency services (911 in the U.S.) or go to the nearest emergency room without delay.

2.2 Limitations of Telehealth: The telehealth platform we use does not provide the same level of physical examination or diagnostic capability as in-person emergency care. Therefore, urgent and acute conditions requiring immediate attention should not be addressed through telehealth consultations.

If you are in an emergency situation, do not use telehealth services. Instead:

- Dial Emergency Services: Call 911 or your local emergency number for immediate medical assistance.

- Visit an Emergency Room: Go to the nearest hospital emergency room for urgent medical care.

By using our telehealth services, you acknowledge that you understand the following:

- Our services are not a substitute for emergency medical care.
- In case of an emergency, you are responsible for seeking immediate care from emergency services or a hospital emergency department.
- You will not hold Wexford Health Solutions liable for any delays or consequences resulting from the failure to seek appropriate emergency care when needed.
